Introduction to Seed Starting

Join us for this introduction to starting plants by seed.  Whether you’re a green thumb or a brown thumb, you’ll learn methods and approaches that will help you have better success starting your garden plants from seed. 

You will learn everything you need to know from Liz your local flower farmer.  

Topics we will cover. 

• When to start seed.
• How to nurture them. (heat mats, lights etc)
• When and how to trasnplant. 
• What adaptions are needed for your space and our colorado climate. 

From preparing to sow the seeds all the way to the final steps before planting outdoors, you will learn the basics and will compare lots of the seed-starting options. 

Please bring some seeds you'd like to start. (we will have some extras too for you to choose from)

- We will send you home with your own seed starting kit, and help you start your seeds.
