Wozani Farm and Monarch Meadows unite to present an elevated slow camp experience. A summer rooted in organic materials, timeless games, and a deep connection to the origins of our food and life.Think Frontier days, But here and now.
THE DAILY RHYTHM
Purposeful connection from soil to soul.
Every day follows a consistent structure designed to ground children in the present moment.

Morning Meeting: Setting intentions & observing the farm.

Farm Chores: Meaningful work collecting eggs, watering, and caring for animals.

Elevated Activity Blocks: Deep engagement in the day's theme. ie. Baking, Crafting. etc.

Calming Circle: Reflection, gratitude, and a gentle close to the day.

THE WEEKLY FLOW
From scratch principles and heirloom skills. (Some, or all and possibly more will be done each week, focused on these themes)
MONDAY: The Textile Arts Natural dyeing with farm plants, weaving on looms, and papermaking.
TUESDAY: The Apothecary & Craft Creating beeswax candles, farm-herb balms, and building a cumulative "Recipe for Living" box.*
WEDNESDAY: The Bakery & Science Farm-to-table baking (bagels from scratch!), kitchen chemistry, and harvesting ingredients. *

THURSDAY: The Wozani Farmer Regenerative farming, building insect hotels, and creating floral masterpieces, learning Animal Husbandry and more.
​
FRIDAY: Celebration & Classical Play Old-school outdoor games (Game of Graces, sack races) and weekly reflections. We can't forget water games when the heat turns up!
*Craft Adjustments for Multi-Week Attendance
To ensure your child has a unique and enriching experience, we will modify the crafts if they attend more than one week. This way, they can enjoy new projects without creating unusable duplicates.
*Baking will include gluten.
Slow Summer Camp 2026
Making butter from cream, and your own bagels from scratch. Cultivating and harvesting flowers and then designing. Playing in the dirt. Doing farm chores, and experiencing true frontier days.
Although you can purchase single days for this camp, because it is a slow camp, a lot of crafts and adventures take multiple days to complete.
Please take that into consideration.
Meet The Team
What to Bring
The Wozani Farm "Must-Haves"
​To ensure your camper has the best experience, please send them with a backpack containing the following items each day. Please label everything with your child’s name!
The "Farm Uniform" (Wear these!)

Closed-Toe Shoes: This is a firm safety rule. Sneakers or boots only (no sandals or Crocs). We will be walking through flower rows and near farm tools.

Comfortable Clothes: Think "Play Clothes." We will be playing in the dirt, kneading dough, and potentially getting stained by flower petals.

A Hat: A wide-brimmed hat or baseball cap is essential for field time.
Inside the Backpack

Water Bottle: An insulated, reusable water bottle (at least 18oz). We have a farm-fresh refill station!

Sunscreen & Bug Spray: Please apply the first coat at home; we will supervise "re-ups" before we head into the field.

A Change of Clothes: Including socks! Farm life can get wet or muddy, especially on "Watering Days."

A Light Jacket/Sweatshirt: Mornings on the farm can be chilly even in the summer.

Beach Towel: For Fridays, drying off after water play.

A Sturdy Lunchbox: While we will provide some farm-fresh snacks, please pack a full healthy lunch for your child.
