About the Event
There’s something deeply hopeful about pushing a single clove into cold soil and trusting it will become something beautiful by summer. Join us at Wozani Farm for a slow, hands-on morning in the garlic beds.
We’ll walk through everything you need to grow garlic at home, then get our hands in the dirt together. You’ll learn how to choose and break apart seed garlic, how to prep and amend your soil, how to space and plant your cloves, and how to mulch for the winter ahead. We’ll also talk about hardneck vs. softneck varieties, when to harvest scapes, and how to cure and store your bulbs.
You’ll take home:
A bundle of seed garlic to plant in your own garden
